Rude Rugs Launches‘Tattoo’

Stunning rug designs based on the work of Tattoo Artist & star of ‘London Ink’ Louis Molloy.

‘Tattoo by Louis Molloy’ joins the ‘Body Art’ and ‘Tribe’ collections in Rude Rugs celebration of the global obsession with body art and ink. All tattoos are unique to their creator and Rude Rugs are delighted to be working with Louis, deemed to be the finest tattoo artist in the country, to create these excitingly different rug designs.

Twice winner of Outstanding Artist of the Year, Louis is perhaps most famous for being the man behind David Beckham’s Angel and for his appearances on the Discovery Channels ‘London Ink’ series. Booked up for years in advance, Louis continues to work with many celebrities and now only takes commissions for work that inspires and challenges him. Happily an approach from Rude Rugs to collaborate on their latest range of bespoke rugs did just that.

Based in Manchester at the Studios that he opened at the age of 18, Louis was excited at the prospect of seeing his designs work in such a different medium and by the fact that Rude Rugs are made to order in England of British Wool. One of the first designs ‘Rule Britannia’ was chosen in celebration of this.
